CHIMO Si Kucing Sporo (Harni Jaafar)

hi,

this is my baby. he is about 5-6 months old. his name is chimo. he has been infected with sporo since may this year. i've tried to cure him and have taken him to the vet (the vet animal clinic in segambut) since he was first infected.

though the medicine is very costly for me but i tried my best to help him recover. but the thing is, i have 4 other cats and i cant no longer buy chimo the medicine he needs most. i cant afford the medicine which cost rm7 per tablet that need to be taken once daily. i've spent almost rm600+ just for his medicine. and i know this might sound selfish but i'm about to get married this mid september which make it even harder for me to buy chimo's medicine. i live with my dad and i'm the only source of income for both of us.  i've tried, i've tried very hard to help him recover but i just could afford it anymore.

the only thing i can do now is to provide him with all my love and care and a little home for him. i would not give up on him as i know he has been strong since then. so, here i am. this is the only way i know to help chimo. i'm asking for your help on behalf of chimo. chimo would be very helpful if you could help him to support his treatment costs. or if there is anything that you can help chimo, i'm sure he would be so happy.

i've lost one of my baby last two months because of sporo too. and i'm not going to lose another one. i want to see him running and be happy again. that is all i'm asking for.

and this is him with his favourite toy before he was infected with sporo. i want him to be happy again. please, help us.

Polisi kami menetapkan hanya kucing jalanan yang layak menerima subsidi kami. Namun melihatkan keadaan CHIMO, kami ingin cuba membantu dalam bentuk lain dengan bantuan yang kami termampu.

Pemandulan kucing-kucing ini telah dilakukan pada 1 Ogos 2012 di Klinik Kembiri Setapak. 

Subsidi Pemandulan yang diberikan untuk 3 ekor kucing betina + 1 ekor kucing jantan ini ialah RM260 menggunakan Dana SCRATCH.

Dear KTAJ,
My husband and I just moved in with my mother @Jalan Kubah Bukit Jelutong in March 2012 as we can't afford rent & she got extra rooms in her house. I just started a new job almost 2 months ago after being unemployed for few months. My husband Mr T is still unemployed & looking for work. Since leaving here, we saw lots of stray cats at the back of the alley of my mum's house. We decide to feed them with cats biscuits & the rest of the neighbors fed them with rice & chicken,fish etc. After sometime, we started seeing kittens, one of the female cat gave birth to 4 kittens, I think 2 males & 2 females. We used to have 3 cats before we moved here. They are now with my mother in law back home. Because of that, my husband decide that we should help them. I'm writing to ask for subsidy of the neutering & sterilization of these cats. We do not know if they have any sickness but none of them have any scratches, wound or anything like that. Mr T have given them names but they don't actually come when we call, they ran away & also they scratch/bite. At the same time, few weeks ago, Mr T when to the neighborhood 7 Eleven to buy ciggies, but he came home with a female kitten. She was chasing mosquitoes & flies to have for dinner. Mr T took her home & decide to name her "Little Miss" - white, brown & black. The rest of the cats & kittens are "Black Beauty" - all black female kitten, "Debab" - brownish male kitten & most chubby hence the name, "Sylvester" - male kitten looks like the one from TV cartoons, "Cinderella" - look exactly like Sylvester but a female kitten with crooked black tail, "Mama" - brown black female cat & lastly "The Mutt" - brown black male cat. At the moment, almost all these cats & kittens are caught by Mr T, me, my mum & my relations just hours ago as we borrowed a big cage from a friend so we can put them in there until we receive a feedback from you. Also to make sure that "Mama" don't get pregnant again. We however, didn't manage to catch "The Mutt", he's too vicious for us to catch. He keeps attacking "Little Miss" & she keep on peeing & pooping everywhere after that because she's scared of him. We can keep just some of them but not all of them. My mum is not very fond of pets. We agreed to give 100% Neutering Subsidy to these cats. 

Shafeeqa made an appointment with Klinik Kembiri Setapak, and 4 cats had been spayed/neutered on 29 July 2012.

Nurul Huda telah menghantar email kepada kami untuk memohon Subsidi Pemandulan untuk 2 ekor kucing betina yang beliau adopt dari page Kucing Terbiar & Anjing Jalanan di Facebook.

Kucing-kucing ini telah dibawa ke Klinik Kembiri Setapak untuk dimandulkan pada 7 Julai 2012 yang lalu.

Subsidi pemandulan yang diberikan untuk kedua-dua kucing betina ini ialah RM140.00 menggunakan Dana SCRATCH. 

Terima kasih kepada Nurul Huda kerana menyokong pemandulan haiwan peliharaan bagi mengurangkan populasi haiwan jalanan yang terbiar.

Anak Kucing Melecur (Alvin Low/Tanti)

Kisah anak kucing malang ini pernah disiarkan di wall Kucing Terbiar & Anjing Jalanan di Facebook. 

Menurut Tanti, 3 ekor anak kucing malang ini ditemui oleh Alvin dihadapan kedai workshop-nya dalam keadaan seperti telah didera dan dibakar. 2 daripada anak kucing ini telah dilenyek sehingga mati. 

Ia satu-satunya anak kucing yang terselamat dengan kesan melecur dan plastik terbakar pada badannya. Kaki hadapan pula cedera dan tidak boleh digerakkan dan menyebabkan anak kucing ini tidak dapat berjalan.

Berikut adalah gambar-gambar anak kucing ini semasa diselamatkan.

 

 

Anak kucing ini kemudian ditempatkan di bawah penjagaan fosterernya, Julia Wong dan Swee Heng. 

 

Rawatan acupunture turut dijalankan ke atas anak kucing malang ini untuk membolehkannya berjalan semula.
